Biography

Began his career as a Lecturer in June 2003 at Don Bosco College, Maram, Manipur. Dr. M. Britto Stalin has completed his B.A., and M.A, in History at St. Joseph's College (Autonomous) Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu and B.Ed., Course in St. Xavier's College of Education at Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. In the year 2008, Dr. M. B. Stalin has completed M.Phil., course at Bhrathidasan University, Tiruhcirappalli and submitted his Dissertation on "SOCIO ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL CONDITIONS REVELED BY FOLK SONGS IN LALGUDI TALUK". After the completion of M.Phil., in History, in June 2009 he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History, St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli. From June 2009 to August 2016 as an Assistant Professor Dr. M. B. Stalin taught Historiography, History of Science and Technology, Ancient and Medieval Indian History and Indian Constitution to the M.A., students. He also rendered Soft Skill Training to UG and PG students of various discipline in different modules. Dr. M. B. Stalin joined as an Assistant Professor in History at Tamil Nadu National Law School/University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu in August 2016 and teaching Indian History and Legal History to B.A.LL.B., & B.Com.LL.B., (Hons.) students. In June 2017 he defended his Ph.D., Thesis on "CONTRIBUTONS OF SHEPHERD - THE EXTENSION PROGRAMME OF ST. JOSEPH'S COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), TIRUCHIRAPPALLI TO THE ADOPED VILLAGES" at Bishop Heber College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli. In August, 2021 Dr. M. Britto Stalin again entered his Alma Mater as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History. His research areas are Social History, Indian Legal History, Cultural History and Subaltern Studies. He participated and presented papers in Regional and National Seminars and Conference. He also attended Four days Capacity Building Workshop on e-Content Development conducted by IQAC, St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli and Two Week Capacity Building Workshop for faculty in Social Sciences sponsored by ICSSR New Delhi. So far he has published 8 Research Articles including a Chapter in a Book and reputed Journals and presented 5 Research Papers in Regional, National and International Conferences and Congress. Dr. M.B. Stalin has delivered 14 invited talks in different institutions across Tamil Nadu. Recently he has attended 1 month Orientation Programme organised by UGC HRDC, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
