Biography

Dr.Y.Vijila is specialized in Interdisciplinary research with mixed methodology. She has done post-graduation in Social Work, Business Administration, and psychology. She has carried out major and minor Projects and organized conferences and seminars at the national level funded by ICSSR and UGC. Experienced in curriculum designing and has coordinated the Lifeskills education program in various schools. She has published more than twenty research articles in various National and International Journals in the areas of child and youth welfare, Organizational Behaviour, strength, and empowerment-based approach. She is the co-author of the book "Psychosocial Development and Welfare (Child-Adolescent-Youth)". She has edited a book titled "Professional Counselling with Social Work Implications". Presently she teaches Human Resource Management at St.Joseph?s College, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India.
