Biography

BSc and MSc. from Loyola College Chennai with Gold medals. Qualified NET (LS) in 2003 and GATE with 96.25 percentile and 120 rank in 2004. Completed M.Phil. from Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 2008. Graduated Ph.D. from Loyola College, Chennai under the supervision of Dr V Alexander in 2019 for the research work in macrocycles. Was a professor at Loyola College Chennai for 2 years. Has been teaching here at St. Joseph?s college, Trichy from 2006 onwards. Published 11 research articles in Journals; 1 article in a conference proceeding and presented 6 papers in conferences. Reviewer ACS and Elsevier pub. Organized 2 international conferences; 4 preparative workshops for competitive chemistry exams. Best Teacher of the College award for 2021-22. Served as resource person on 58 occasions. Founder Coordinator of Mendeleev's Chemistry Club, Department of Chemistry, SJC, 2019 and continue as coordinator till 2022. Teaching organic chemistry for UG, and Spectroscopy, Pericyclic reactions and Photochemistry for PG courses. Trainer for aptitude tests and coach for NET/SET/GATE. Founder Coordinator of Mendeleev's Chemistry Club, Department of Chemistry, SJC, 2019 and continue as coordinator till 2022. Teaching organic chemistry for UG and Spectroscopy, Pericyclic reactions and Potochemistry for PG. Trainer for aptitude tests and coach for NET/SET/GATE. Recipient of Best Teacher of the College award for 2021-22
