Programme Specific Outcomes

BCOM HONOURS is a three-year, full-time undergraduate program. This prestigious, unique programme is affiliated to Bharathidasan University - a State Government University. The uniqueness of this programme is its integration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) curriculum. The BCOM HONOURS syllabus includes nine subjects of ACCA. After the successful completion of the requirements of this programme, a student will hold a university approved BCOM HONOURS degree and an internationally recognised Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Business issued by ACCA, UK (Upon clearing three prespecified ACCA papers). Students can also gain an affiliate status from ACCA (Upon Clearing 4 professional papers of ACCA). St. Joseph's College has signed MOU with International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), UK for training students in ACCA GLOBAL examination and placement of Honours students. This Honours programme equips the students with a strong base in Accounting, Analytics and Taxation besides imparting in-depth knowledge and skills in a host of other value adding subjects. In brief, with a university approved honours degree from a well reputed College and a globally recognized ACCA certification, you can seek a lucrative career practically in any field, anywhere in the world.
